About Viet Noodles

The ambient hum of conversation and the subtle clatter of cutlery create a soothing backdrop that complements the flavorsome experience at Viet Noodles. A glance through Viet Noodles + photos found online hints at the minimalist décor, which translates well into the cozy, no-frills interior witnessed firsthand. Though the seating arrangement leans toward casual dining, its simplicity allows the intricate spices and fresh ingredients of the dishes to take center stage. The interplay of sharp herbs and delicate broths, particularly in their pho, resonates with authenticity, though at times some may find the portions slightly modest compared to other Vietnamese eateries in the area.

Exploring beyond the standard offerings, the menu reveals thoughtful variations on classic staples, balancing both vegetarian and meat-based plates with care. Many reviews highlight the spring rolls as a standout, their crispy texture perfectly contrasting the softer rice noodles and the vibrancy of accompanying herbs. It's clear the kitchen maintains a steady rhythm, and while personal preferences may vary on seasoning intensity, the quality ingredients elevate most dishes well above simple street food. Attentiveness from staff appears consistent, enhancing the overall dining flow without intruding, which can make a notable difference in the enjoyment of casual lunches or relaxed dinners alike.

The reputation of Viet Noodles as a modest but reliable Vietnamese restaurant is supported by a growing number of positive reflections online, where its reputation for delivering good value for Lisboa diners becomes evident. Pricing aligns with the neighborhood's mid-range expectations, allowing many to indulge without hesitation. Taste and atmosphere combine to offer a reliable option amid the city's diverse culinary scene, even if the experience might lack some of the theatricality or fusion creativity found elsewhere. For those seeking an authentic touch with straightforward warmth, the offerings here present a welcome balance that many local and visiting patrons seem eager to revisit.

Nice spot for a quick bowl of pho when you’re craving it out on vacation. The noodles and broth were delicious and portion size was generous. Would stop by for a quick pho fix!

I thought this restaurant was really good and worth the visit. The staff was so kind and we got served right away. The broth in my Pho Ga was so flavorful and comforting. They kindly cut up fresh chilies which added a lot to the taste. My personal opinion is that I didn’t love that the chicken was grilled. But it was still tasty. I did have a note of constructive advice. Please invest in those bigger spoons for the pho. The regular silver spoons just don’t do it justice. Other than that I would totally go back!

The Beef Pho broth itself tastes layered and delicate, not heavy: savory from the beef, lightly sweet from the charred onion and spices, and impossibly clean for something so flavorful. Every sip feels soothing. The noodles are soft but springy, absorbing the broth while still holding their shape. Worth to try it if you are in Lisbon.

If you’re tired of heavy or greasy food and craving something refreshing, this place is a perfect choice. The broth was light and comforting. The outdoor seating is also a fun experience — you can watch the trams pass by right next to your table!

If you like or love Vietnamese food (or have yet to try!) this place is AWESOME! I’ve had pho all over the world and am hesitant about rave reviews re: broth. I asked if I could try the broth and they very kindly gave me a cup. It was so good that we went here twice in one weekend. Our server, Nakil (I think that is his name, apologies if I got it wrong) was so lovely. To me this is one of the best pho’s I’ve had. The broth was delicate, not too salty and not sweet. It’s hard to beat a good pho! We also had curries and starters. I had the pho broth with tofu and vegetables. I was told they will be introducing chicken broth soon. Go here! Delicious!

yummy viet food (q authentic—i’m from south east asia & have tried many diff viet food arnd the world!) and friendly service ◡̈ space was a lil tight but uk the food is gna be good, and it was! they also offered chili padi, which i was so happy to accept cos most viet food places in europe dont have that! practically poured all the sliced chilli into my pho bo soup cos i have been badly deprived of spicy food in europe :( the dry noodles (idk the actual viet name) was delicious as well, loved the grilled pork slices v much, they were perfect and the crunchy garlic crisps were so fragrant.
